Why We’ve Chosen to Organize as a Private Membership Association (PMA)
A Private Membership Association (PMA) allows us to offer our products and services freely, transparently, and without interference from public regulatory systems that often prioritize profit over true well-being.
Our decision comes from a place of care and responsibility. Time and again, large institutions have allowed harmful ingredients and questionable practices to pass through the system—while creating red tape that blocks small, mission-driven businesses from sharing genuinely beneficial offerings. Common additives like artificial colors and misleading terms such as “natural flavors” are just a few examples of how these systems fail to protect public health.
By forming a PMA, we step outside of that model and reclaim the ability to offer wellness tools rooted in nature, tradition, and integrity. This structure empowers you—as a private member—to make your own informed choices, free from the constraints of commercial influence.

At the Montana Medicine Collective, our mission is to work with the most skilled wildcrafters and dedicated formulators to offer life-affirming, high-quality products to our private members.
Currently, every product is crafted in-house with care and intention. But our vision goes further: to empower herbalists and medicine makers who may not have a platform, and to build a collective of like-minded individuals rooted in heart, skill, and devotion to their craft.
We are committed to sustainable practices, ethical sourcing, and uncompromising quality. Every offering in our apothecary reflects this standard — crafted not just for wellness, but for the betterment of our community and the Earth we share.
